Highland Park Distillery was founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson, an illicit Distiller and Smuggler of Whisky by night, but who also served his local community by day as the local church officer. You could say that the Lord works in mysterious ways and that Magnus liked to serve his congregation two spirits.
Bottled in 2008 and limited to 3924 bottles released to the Nordic countries. We were lucky enough to get this as part of a private collection, and the liquid instead is 12 years old and cask strength. Apparently Hjarta means ‘heart’.
