Glenfiddich takes its name from its location, this in Scottish Gaelic meaning Valley of the deer and is why Glenfiddich have the Stags Head as their Logo. Built in 1886 by William Grant and his 9 children and still remaining family owned to this day and can now boast being the worlds most Awarded Single Malt.

The Original 1963 Straight Malt by Glenfiddich that changed the World of Whisky for everyone for evermore. When following in the well-trodden footsteps of his family Sandy Grant Gordon started bottling Glenfiddich Straight Malt for markets well outside the traditional UK market and introducing this single malt loved the World over. 

By expertly nosing samples of The Original 1963 Straight Malt Brian Kingsman was able to reproduced the taste, and by checking the old 1960s leather bound ledgers he also was able to recreate the original recipe.
