Glenfiddich takes its name from its location, this in Scottish Gaelic meaning Valley of the deer and is why Glenfiddich have the Stags Head as their Logo. Built in 1886 by William Grant and his 9 children and still remaining family owned to this day and can now boast being the worlds most Awarded Single Malt.
From the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival comes this very special Cask Strength Glenfiddich aged 23 years at 53.02% abv in a first fill Bourbon Barrel laid down in 1995 from Cask Number 15,836. This was sold exclusively on the day to the lucky people visiting the Glenfiddich Distillery and limited to just 199 bottles.
