Located on the far South-western end of the remote and rugged Island of Islay sits The Bruichladdich Distillery which loosely translates into Gaelic to mean “brae by the shore”.
This is the fourth release of the legendary Bruichladdich Black Art. Former Master Distiller Jim McEwan has kept the composition of this whisky as enigmatic as ever. Distilled in 1990, the composition of the casks is a mystery to everyone but the creator himself, using the very finest American and French oak and bottled 23 long years later in the true Bruichladdich artisan style.
