Description

Located on the far South-western end of the remote and rugged Island of Islay sits The Bruichladdich Distillery which loosely translates into Gaelic to mean “brae by the shore”.

The Resurrection Dram from Bruichladdich compromised 24000 bottles constructed entirely from 7-year-old 10ppm bourbon-matured distillate made by Jim McEwan in 2001 after the new regime came to power. This whisky was distilled in 2001 then bottled in 2008 from whisky matured in oak casks for 7 years.
